Frustrated when you make a mistake in knitting because you don't know what else to do but start over? Here's a class just for you! Learn how to fix common mistakes like twisted stitches and dropped stitches. Learn how to "tink" and "frog", change a knit stitch to a purl stitch, and use a lifeline to go back past your mistake. Must have experience with knitting, purling. There will be pre-class homework for this class. You will need 2 sample swatches, one stockinette, one garter, each at least 20 stitches wide x 2 inches long, knitted up using a light-colored worsted weight yarn on size 7 or 8 needles. Leave both swatches on the needles - do NOT bind off. Additionally, need a small crochet hook or fix-it tool, tapestry (yarn) needle and dental floss or scrap yarn of a lesser weight. Class meets March 20, 2-4 pm. Maximum of 4 students. Class taught by Diane Jespersen.
