Each Brown Bag kit has 6 3/4 yards of coordinating fabric. The size of this year’s mystery quilt is 50" x 66" without a border. Additional Border and Binding fabrics are sold separately.
You'll get cutting instructions right away. The clues for assembly will be mailed every 2 weeks, starting March 14th. You'll get a total of 5 clues mailed to you, the final being the assembly instructions. While you stitch, you can connect with quilt friends all over the country on Facebook. Instructions to join a national Private Facebook Group are included inside your bag. The first clue will be presented by Karen Montgomery in the group March 15th, the first weekend of stitching for the Brown Bag Mystery. Note, you will not have your paper pattern yet. Don't worry! We promise it is just fine.
Clue Mailing Dates: Clues will be mailed to you from Central Iowa. Please allow up to 2 weeks for your clue to arrive. Be sure to include your preferred mailing address on your order for your brown bag mystery kit as this is the address where your clues will be sent.
