Pepin Tote Class
Join us on Thursday, February 20, from noon to 4pm for a hands-on class to create the stylish Pepin Tote by Noodlehead, taught by Hannah. This class is perfect for those looking to enhance their bag-making skills. Please bring your own sewing machine; however, if you own a lightweight model that struggles with multiple layers or zippers, we have floor models available for your convenience. To ensure a smooth start, we ask that you have all your pieces pre-cut before the class begins. Plus, enjoy a 10% discount on your pattern and bag materials when purchased at Off the Rails Quilting. Required class materials: 1 yd exterior fabric, 2/3yd of interior fabric, 2 yds of fusible woven interfacing, (2) 28"x1" wide leather straps or cotton webbing for straps. A Pepin Tote by Noodlehead pattern. You will want to make sure you have size 14 or 16 denim or Microtex needles, a water soluble pen or tailor's chalk, and a rotary cutter. Optional: 20" zipper if you wish to add a recessed zipper closure. (If using zipper by the yard, you will need a longer zipper. We would recommend 26" to make sure it's long enough. You will also want to bring in 2 3" square pieces of your exterior fabric to make matching zipper ends for the zipper by the yard.)
