Cabled Hat Class March 12

Classic cabled hat - great for a knitter new to cables. Students should be comfortable knitting in the round. Pre-class homework: If making a child size hat, cast-on 96 stitches using long-tail cast-on. Join to work in the round. Work K2, P2 rib until the brim measures 4". If making adult size hat, cast on 112 stitches using long-tail using long-tail cast on. Join to work in the round. Work K2, P2 rib until brim measures 4". Class supply list: US 8 16" circular needles, US 8 DPN's, 100 gms worsted weigh yarn (such as 1 skein Cascade 220 Superwash, Encored, or Vintage), cable needle, 7 closed stitch markers, and 1 safety pin style stitch marker. Class meets March 12, 10am-Noon.
