Foster Child Duffle Donation Kit Pre-Order*

Did you know that many foster children carry their belongings in trash bags? It’s a heartbreaking reality, and one that was confirmed to us by our wonderful customer Tammy, who works closely with kids in the foster care system. We want to change that. We’re making handmade duffel bags to donate to foster children, and we’d love for you to join us. Children in the system range from newborn to 18, so bags of colors, and styles are welcome—anything that adds a little dignity and comfort. **This kit is to make a Patchwork Duffle by Knot & Thread Designs - Kaitlyn Howell. It includes pre-quilted fabric and all of the goodies to make 1 duffle. The Patchwork Duffle Pattern is sold separately. When duffles are returned to Off the Rails Quilting you will get a $10 store credit bonus to Off the Rails Quilting as a huge thank you for your contribution.** You can drop your handmade duffel bags off at the shop or mail them to us, and we’ll make sure Tammy and her team at The Youth Law Center get them into the hands of the kids who need them most.
