Mosaic Hat Class April 24

Learn to read a mosaic color chart. Students should be comfortable knitting and purling in the round. Pre-class homework: Using US 5 needle, cast on 1/2 stitches using a long-tail cast-on. Join to work in the round. Work K2, P2 ribbing until the brim measures 1.75" from cast on edge. Class materials: Tincture Pattern found on Ravelery, DK weight yarn in 2 contrasting colors - 1 skein each. (examples: Uptown DK, Vintage DK), US 5 -16" circular needles, US 7 - 16" circular needles, US 7 - DPN's for crown shaping, 14 stitch markers - one of which should be unique. Class meets April 24, 1:00-3:00pm.
