Yarrow Wristlet Class April 9th
Join us Wednesday, April 9th from 9:30am-3pm (with a lunch break) to make the Yarrow Wristlet by Noodlehead! This is Hannah’s go-to wallet pattern. This class is perfect for those wanting to enhance their bag making skills. Please bring your own sewing machine; however, if you own a lightweight model that struggles with multiple layers or zippers, we have floor models available for your convenience. Plus, enjoy a 10% discount on your pattern and bag materials when purchased at Off the Rails Quilting.
To ensure a smooth start, we ask that you have all your pieces pre-cut before the class begins.
Required Class Materials: Yarrow Pattern, ¼yd exterior fabric, 1/3yd lining fabric, ½yd SF101 interfacing, ¼yd DB809 interfacing, 1 12” zipper, 1 4” zipper (or zipper by the yard for both- we will cut to length in class), 1 ½” D ring, 1 ½” swivel snap. It is sometimes helpful to bring extra fabric and interfacing to class in case a cutting mistake is made in prep.
Helpful class materials: wonder clips, pins, chalk pencil or roller, seam roller, polyester thread (This pattern requires top stitching, be sure your thread matches your exterior and lining fabrics. Feel free to use multiple colors!).
*Hannah’s favorite adaptation to this pattern is adding a second set of card pockets and zippered pocket on the inside of the wallet. If you would also like to do this, we can do that in class! Make sure you have extra pieces pre-cut to make a second interior zipper lining, card slot and zipper panel. If you would like to make the pattern as written- no problem. No extra cutting needed!
